The Solution
I created a static site with Astro that combines a vibrant landing page inspired by multicolor filaments with a category-filterable catalog and a direct order form via FormSubmit.
Motivation
It's my wife's real business, already generating some revenue. I chose Astro for speed and because I wanted to try a new framework.
Challenges
The biggest visual design challenge was solved with help from my wife, who is an artist. Cataloging products with quality photos is something we're still working on.
Learnings
I learned that reaching customers with physical products is tough. The owner is happy with the site, but stock and images remain a logistical challenge.
Context
Online and operational. Orders currently come through other channels. SEO and marketing are pending.
